I love this gun. Once you get used to it, it handles like the guns that are three times the price. Like all guns, you have to keep it clean. Definitely, worth the money. Only drawback is the "stiffness" of loading shells into the magazine. Not a big deal.

PURCHASED A 453 , AND JUST RETURNED AFTER MY FIRST TIME IN THE FIELD WITH IT.I PAID 400.00 FOR IT AT A WAL-MART STORE. WELL WE SHOT 100 RDS WITHOUT A PROBLEM, NO JAMS, EJECTS PERFECTLY, NEVER A MISS FIRE,,,,,JUST GREAT,,,,,,DID NOT FIRE ANY 3 1/2 MAG. SHELLS THIS TIME BUT WILL THE NEXT TIME OUT .THIS GUN PERFORMS BEAUTIFULLY. IT OUT PERFORMED MY FRIENDS 1000.00 WINCHESTER. WISH I COULD LOCATE THE MAGAZINE EXSTENTER.

Good all around gun

Shot this gun all of last season. It was excellent. I had heard it had some trouble until it was broken in but not mine. Do have to keep it clean which you should anyway. One heckuva gun for the price.
